History of Photography



When I first started this project the idea I had was to do something different from everybody else. Most of my classmate did a painting. I did not want to do a paint because one it will turn into a mess and two I have been doing paintings and working on art a year round. My project shows the different steps it to the inventors of photography to make it essay.

I learned that the inventors had many problems in the beginning and in order to fix the problem they come up with different ideas and the got rid of the old ones. When doing my research I learned that they did a variety of things to make photography easy and that is why photography is based on a variety of things and not just one thing.

I think this project is important because it shows that photography is not only about talking pictures and at one point it was more popular than it is now. My strengths in this project were my commitment and how much I wanted to do it and my weakness was the research part. Because no matter how much interest I had in the project but when I was researching I was restless.

My idea for this project was to show my peers that photography is more than taking pictures and that there is a lot of history behind the word photography. And that there is a lot of meaning behind it.

When doing this project I learned a lot apart from the history I learned about the first permanent photography and who made it. I learned about the older cameras that came before. And most importantly I learned about the most difficult times of photography and why it is easy now.

My first goal was to learn as much as I can about photography. And for my 10th goal I did exactly that. I know so much about photography as I do now. So this project was a very important project to me because I learned a lot about one of the things that is important me.

from now until next week I get my paper revised by my teacher, but in the mean time I will start
putting my collage together.

So far I have being doing a lot of research, so I am going to stop research and start taking out pictures, and look for places to take out pictures.

During spring break, I will try to work more on my project, and also I will try to get the materials will need for my project.

Third Goal

My third goal will be the same as my second goal, but I will be looking into more websites, and maybe pictures.

Materials Needed for Project

I will need:

1. Camera with black and white,and colored films
2. A computer
3. Board
4. Time (About two weeks)

Photography is more than taking pictures, so while doing this project I will have to know when it started, who started, and how it started. I will need to know the different types of photography, and the names of different photographers

Second Goal

By next Tuesday I will be able to research more about my project which is the History Of Photography, I will research information on the beginning of photography.

By next Tuesday I will post five resources on my blog and I will know I achieved the research because there will be five new links on my blog

My Project- History Of Photography

My project is mainly focusing on the history behind photography, for example where it started
and how it started.

My Back Wards Plan

1. At the end my project is going to have a typed up page maybe two, along with a collage with different photos not all of the same but different, some colored and my main goal is to try and get some black and white also.

2. But before all of that I need to get the main things that will get me to that point.

3. First I will need to researh about the history of photography, which will be my typed up paper.

4. Then I will go on the hunt for a good camera and a perfect place to take some beautiful pictures.

5. Since my pictures will not be the same, and some will be black and white then I will have to buy films that when I take the pictures it will come out black and white.

6.I will get a board to place the pictures on, which will turn into a collage and show the world idea of photography in all angles.

About Me

My name is Kina C. Albert and I am one out of four kids and the third child.
On my free time I like to watch movies, shopping and spending time with the
family laughing and having fun. Those are the things that's important to
me.
